Technology being what it is today, almost all upper level institutions of any stripe will offer a broad variety of computer based diplomas and degrees. These can come in useful if you are looking for a jobs in search engine optimization, Toronto graphic design, or systems analysts here in St. Louis.
Even if you want to do something which seems relatively straightforward, such as starting your own construction business, you will probably find education to be a useful asset. The most successful businessmen have not only knowledge in their applied trade (and it takes four years to earn a construction degree!) but also some business education background.
